I've been to Narcisi's once before for an Easter brunch, and I went for a second time to celebrate my mother's birthday. Just like the time before, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
After checking in with the hostess on the front patio, you are greeted with a complimentary wine tasting as soon as you walk inside. 2% of their wines are locally made right there at the winery and the rest are made up in the Erie area of Pennsylvania.
My top picks for the wine are the Granato (red) and the Catawba (blush). Both are on the sweeter side.
The staff is very knowledgeable and act professional, both the bartenders and the waiters/waitresses. It's very helpful when your waiter recommends a certain dish and I appreciate that Narcisi's staff understand what they are serving.
The outside area is beautiful with a massive patio for seating surrounded by grapevines and greenery. You can either seat outside for a meal or for just drinking wine. You can also utilize the winery's gazebo and picnic area just for drinking Narcisi wine without even putting yourself on a waiting list.
Narcisi's Winery has top notch Italian food, great wine, and a beautiful atmosphere that makes you feel like you aren't even in Pittsburgh.
