  • This is a very nice, clean hotel located near plenty of restaurants, shopping and other conveniences. I had checked hotel prices in the area before making reservations and the deal here was very reasonable. It wasn't as close to the area of Charlotte that we are used to, but I am glad that my husband and I stayed here. The best thing was the special promotion Holiday Inn Express is running called "Snoozapoloosa" from now until sometime in December. Checkout time has been moved to 12 noon which is very, very nice. The available complimentary breakfast has extended its time to 12 noon, also. It looked as if this hotel has been recently updated and the changes are nice. Our room was clean and quiet. Never heard other guests, although the hotel seemed fairly full. I love the firm and soft pillows, too. I may have to check into purchasing some of my own. Our bathroom had updated fixtures and countertop. Only thing, there was no hair dryer. I am not sure if it was an oversight, or Holiday Inn Express doesn't offer that amenity any more. I had packed my own, but this would inconvenience someone else. We would definitely stay here again. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
