  • I also bought the groupon because the deal was too good to pass up. I'm always up for trying a new yoga studio. But, Aum Center Yoga is clearly not ready to be open. There are still piles of equipment in the "moon" room. I understand that the place is new and still needs to finish renovating, but it just seems so unfinished. There is not a secure place to store your things at the studio since there are no lockers, you cannot bring large valuables into the studio with you though you are allowed to take in a small basket that fits just your wallet and cell phone (sorry ladies if you own an expensive purse), and the main door is locked with either a wooden board or a bungee cord. I have taken three different classes at the studio and all I can say about them is that they were okay. The three teachers that I practiced with didn't seem engaged or excited to be there. Also, the schedule changes on a weekly basis. The time slots remain the same, but the style or teacher rotates around so you can't have a regular weekly class. Overall, I don't think that I will be completing the classes left on my groupon.
