  • This is a fantastic animal hospital, I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Oscar and his team. I brought my 11 year old Havanese, Alfie, in for a loose tooth and he ended up having to have dental surgery. Dr. Oscar went out of his way to explain the treatment and cost in detail ahead of time so there were no surprises and I knew what to expect. He sent me a detailed email after each visit as a follow up, as well as phone calls right before and after the surgery to let me know how Alfie was doing, and a phone call the next morning from one of his lovely staff to ask after Alfie's recovery. I felt that I was properly consulted for each aspect of his treatment, down to the blood tests, how many teeth were coming out, and the after care. Alfie was bouncing around the same night of the surgery, and was 100% the next day. Dr. Oscar did a fantastic job on something that could have easily had complications. He does not pressure you into unnecessary treatments, instead he will fully explain why he recommends certain treatments and what the options are, making me feel like I was able to make an informed decision. Dr. Oscar is knowledgeable and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. He even sent me a thank you card signed by him and his staff thanking me for visiting them! I have never been so impressed with any vet, ever. Dr. Oscar is now my new vet for Alfie and for my new puppy, coming soon! I definitely recommend Sherbourne Animal Hospital for anyone who has a pet. The level of care is second to none. Thank you! Erin
