  • Such a disappointment. I really dislike giving a less then favorable reveiw of a restrurant when there are so many positive reviews. So let's start off on a good note. The staff at Cracked Egg are warm, friendly, and accommodating, which is why I feel terrible for calling out their food as bland and tastless. We really wanted to like the cracked Egg so badly, but the way to begin a meal is not with brunt black toast, over- cooked eggs/bacon, and undercooked potatoes. The entire meal from beginning to end just wasn't good. I wasn't expecting a 5 star meal, however, I would have expected food that wasn't burnt or overcooked.
