  • Had the same experience as Steph C's review from their other location. The only difference is this was from their Oakville location and the reasons they gave were different. They wrote a return date weeks out because they told me it didn't matter, it was just because they needed a return date far in the future to allow insurance enough time to fix my car or would report it lost after the date had passed so the further out the better. They told me that they would charge an extra $250 for drop off but we signed for it anyway because we knew we wouldn't keep the car for long. They kept telling me insurance will cover, so I kept calling my insurance company who never picked up and I couldn't check. After 1 day I called and confirmed my insurance won't cover so we were going to return the car, all the way in Oakville, because they would charge me $250 if I dropped it off in Richmond Hill. I asked, if I drove it back to Oakville would there be a $250 charge and he said no, so we drove to Oakville. I paid my invoice upon return by credit card for the $250 plus 1 day rental and found out later they charged me another $500! Upon going over the contract again the $250, they did not tell me but I suspect that the "drop off" was for both 1) the guy delivering the car the night of the accident and 2) my returning the car within 10 days...$500! My total bill was $837.87 for 1 day rental. Still disputing the $500 that was charged without my knowledge. These people take advantage of the horrible situation you got in (like an accident), tell you everything is fine and not to worry because insurance will cover, then make you sign everywhere for everything assuming they will just bill your insurance company. When the insurance falls through, they bill you an arm and leg because at the time you were distraught, just in an accident, they were the only people present who could "help" you through your situation and being desperate we agreed. Now that we've had some time to get over our accident and think about it, it would have been better to call a taxi and wait longer for the taxi than to sign any contract with anyone.
