Solid bar food, good beer menu, and a number of vegetarian options (I eat meat but I always notice veggie options at bars because it usually means better food quality!)
I stopped in with my mom and husband one Saturday afternoon and there was a decent crowd getting their day drink on. Minimalist industrial type atmosphere with a garage door that opens in warmer weather - definitely a place I could see myself throwing back a few beers at in the evening. My only complaint: It was pretty dark, I could barely see across the table!
Had the fried jumbo sandwich (jumbo=bologna for any non Pittsburgh speakers) and it was a really good sandwich! Essentially a grilled cheese with fried jumbo on it, which I wasn't expecting but turns out the buttery toasted crunch of the toast went perfectly with the jumbo. I usually get bored with a sandwich after half, but I finished this whole sammie! The fries that came with it were nice and crunchy, flavor was so so. I think they'd have been really great with some garlic and parmesan.
Definitely a great lunch or casual dinner spot and would love to come back sometime and try the wings and a few more beers!
