  • Went to LVAC for years, and then after a year of not going i decide i would go see if i could do a pay by the day option because i didn't know how often i would be able to go. I talked to one of their main executives about it and he wanted to get me signed back up on a 3yr paid in full plan that i had done before, and i told him i didn't want to do that right now, so he said lets just fill out the paper work and we wont turn it in until im ready. I assumed he just wanted to make sure he got the credit and commission when i went through with it. I specifically verified with him that he is not going to run the paper work through 3 times, as i told him i wasn't sure if i was going to do a long term plan right now, that's why i was asking about a daily pay option. He said i could come in and hit the gym that day, and just let him know if i decide to get back on the long term plan and he will take care of it. I ended up just hanging around the gym for about a hour and after that i didn't come back. I was out of state and caught up in my life for the next few years and more recently i came back to sign up only to find out that this asshole ran the paper work and i was being charged for a 3yr contract with penalties. I explained the situation to their rep and he told me there's nothing we can do about that. So i tell him... Look, i didn't authorize any contract with Las Vegas Athletic Club and i haven't even been here or even been in the state since i spoke to the executive that did this years ago. This new guy again states "There is nothing we can do about it" and proceeds to talk about how i can pay them $600+ to clear it. Unbelievable ! I will never pay them a dime and will never go there again! (By the way, I cut my leg on broken tile in a hot tub at one of thier facility's. And They do a piss poor job of enforcing and keeping nasty people from washing off in the pool after they come out the sauna, nor sanitizing the workout equipment...)
