| - Mon Ami Gabi is pretty good attempt at a Parisian restaurant, at least in decor (though the tables are much larger than those in Paris, which is nice.) My husband and I went here for brunch, right as they opened. We used an open table reservation, which wasn't really necessary at that early hour, but its still nice to have the option.
I have to admit, I really didn't have high expectations for the food but was pleasantly surprised. The omelette I had was really well cooked and had a great flavor. Also, I liked that they had roasted tomatoes on the side instead of potatoes. The fruit bouquet that we had to start was a little bit more 'meh' but that's mainly because I'm never crazy about melon. Luckily, it wasn't all melon and had a pretty decent variety of fruits and interesting dipping sauces.
Of course, it did seem a bit ridiculous to me that there was vast and highly air conditioned patio seating in the height of summer heat, but this appears to be very common in Vegas. You could even feel the air conditioning when walking past on the side walk.
Overall, it was a decent experience and was worth trying.
