  • I purchased the living social deal and signed up for the $50 Beginner class that included 5 sessions. I must say for $50 you're definitely getting more than you paid for. I hear people complain about the seating but seriously for 15 hour classes at $50 don't expect much in terms of comfortable seating. The instructors were generally good in explaining how to use the DSLR cameras, although I felt bad for those that didn't own them but people should know that point and shoot cameras come with limited functions so there is no point in taking a class on how to use a "point and shoot". I found the class useful in terms on how to take a better photograph, how to minimize costs by purchasing used camera equipment, how to use my DSLR camera... the course doesn't claim to be more than beginner and it was perfect for me. Instructors were professional and demonstrated they knew about good photography judging from the samples used in class.
