I am seriously disappointed and frustrated with my experience at this place. I disregarded the mixed reviews and thought I would give it a go and happened to have some luck and walk by when they were offering free two week passes to try the gym out. Oh that's great I thought... I was in transit from California, over for a week before heading back to tie up some loose ends before moving back permanently and thought the pass would be a great way to see if I wanted to join. I went in, met with a sales guy, who was actually quite nice (so I'm not mentioning his name) and toured the gym. When it came time to issue the pass I asked him "Is there an expiry date on these? Because I am going back to California in a couple of days and would like to use it when I get back..." He told me "I don't think so, and even if there is just come see me and I will help you out" Ok. Great I thought.
So I go to California, finish moving my stuff and come back to use the pass and I am told abruptly by the girl at the counter "This pass has expired, you can't use it" So i explained what the guy had said and asked to see him to talk to him about it... She didn't even hear me, told me that the gym can't issue me another pass for another six months EVEN IF I HAVEN'T USED IT and that if I wanted to enter the gym I would have to pay. Didn't try to help me, didn't get the guy I had originally dealt with (didn't even try) and didn't care that I hadn't even used the pass. So I guess they don't care about letting me try the gym, or having me become a member, or even giving good customer service. Seriously disappointed. I was really looking forward to trying it out. Guess now I won't and will go find another gym that actually wants my membership and treats me like a person. Never even tried to fix it. Absolute fail.
