  • Mike came out to my house today. My air conditioner was unable to bring the house below 80 degrees and it was working its butt off trying to do so. He called me back within 15 minutes of me leaving a message and scheduled a same day appointment. He was on time to the appointment and swiftly got to work. He took the time to educate me on the problem at hand and even gave advice on how to optimize the performance of the system. My unit was very low on freon. He was able to fill the unit and normalize several measures of pressure and temperature that were way outside of optimal norms. At the end of the day I paid $365 for the service call. I was charged $70 per lb for the freon and $85 for the service call. Upon investigation in price comparison on the internet this seemed an average price. It was definitely no deal, but it wasn't a rip off either. Overall, I would call Mike and "Cooler Tymes" again as the service was professional and friendly.
