  • I used to go to Blo Bar to get my hair done. These days, I've found a new go-to spot but for my birthday, I wanted a quick last minute blowout in the midst of all my party preparations and only Blo was able to accommodate such a last minute walk in. The woman doing my hair was super friendly and I think she did my hair fairly well. Considering that I have thick curls, it's hard on most people. It take s a long time to do, and it's crazy long (hidden by the spring of curls). The woman who did my blowout was awesome. She did it all in just over an hour and she was pregnant! I felt pretty bad for her, having to stand and be in the heat conditions of a blow bar. For the most part she did a good job, but my hair tends to hold styles well and some of the sections weren't done quite right so they were a bit limp looking. Overall it still looked nice and I got complimented but not the best blowout I've ever had. I'm not subtracting stars for this purpose, the subtraction is all about the price. It's quite pricey. I would get regular blowouts if it were cheaper. In fact the reason I stopped going to Blo was because I found a cheaper place.
