| - This hotel is average, and the rooms need updating. I stayed here one night on business in a King Suite. The lobby is very well-renovated, but unfortunately the rooms are not. The lighting is very dim, the bathrooms are old, and the rooms are on the small side. The television looked like it belonged in 1995, and the wifi signal was spotty - it barely worked from the desk, but was ok on the bed. Not strong enough to stream video, however. The gym equipment is fairly limited (4 old treadmills, 2 newer elliptical and a few free-weights), but the pool looked fine.
On the plus side, the service was friendly (they brought me a complimentary toothbrush), and the bed was comfortable. The room I had was quite (21st floor, at the end of the hall), and the location is outstanding for the hospital district, and walkable to Queen, King and Front (20-25 minutes).
Overall the hotel is not up to the standards of the Soho Metropolitan, but wasn't terrible. Average rating!
