I would call this a light 5 star review. If 4.5 was available I would rate it as such. First of all, the food is truly incredible and refined and deserving of its reputation. I have this internal balance between the price of the food and exceptionalness of the taste and preparation. Guy Savoy does not meet that balance. The prices are extremely high for the quality delivered. The heirloom tomatoes prepared 3 ways, was my favorite dish of all, utter perfection for tomato lovers. The soup that made him famous was very good, but again the balance of price lowered my enjoyment of it. The sea bass with foam, and incredible treatment of the skin, was great but I have honestly had better for my personal taste elsewhere. Overall, a great evening and a definite experience.
