I've heard a lot of positive hype on this brewery and was excited to try it. I visited on a Saturday evening, with two friends. I was disappointed in the range of beers. There's simply not enough variety in beer types to attract a more choosy beer drinker. There are mostly piney or sour beers here. I am a beer drinker I like stouts, wheat beers, fruity beers.
This place is definitely casual, bare bones and authentic - the opposite of showy. It's a huge open warehouse with standing room and scattered seating. There are no decor elements and very little lighting. Overall the space lacks ambiance or even hominess or character of any kind. Not very welcoming.
One of the female bartenders was also not welcoming at all - seemed bothered to be dealing with our party. Other bartenders were more friendly.
We visited on one of the first cold nights of the season and the huge space was not heated well, lots of cold drafts.
We saw a mouse run across the floor when we were sitting in back brewery room.
It was great that they had a local food truck outside! That was fun. I did not see anyone order any of the bar snacks they had on the menu
It was great to try new beers. I really did want to find something I could like. I most likely will not visit again as the beer list did not align with my tastes :(
