rev:text	in 2014, we called everywhere to see if any nearby complex would take my family and my dogs. each one refused except for this place and desert homes. both ran by the same owners. Remington place- on july 16th, 2014 I got a call from the old manager named eric. he said our apartment wasn't ready at all and that it might be ready by my birthday but he wasn't certain about it. we got the keys to the place on my birthday. the manager patricia said that she's gonna get me a piece of cake but didn't I guess cuz of who knows why. she was nice and cool. patricia and laura weren't told too much info from maintenance and eric so they had no idea that my apartment and apparently a ton more around that time was messy, gross and not fixed. my birthday we got the keys, and as soon as we begin to bring in furniture, we smell this odd smell coming from the bedrooms. the toilet seat in the hallway bathroom wasn't installed correctly, there was an infestation of roaches in the phone outlet in the kitchen and there was roaches galore in the bathrooms and kitchen. my place wasn't painted nor taken care of whatsoever. patricia said that we have to talk to eric and see about working out a deal like getting a month free of rent. we didn't get any deal. eric was mad that I came in on Monday with the check in paper only because patricia said to bring it in on Monday in order to speak to eric about our apartment having too many issues so she said that we can have our rent reduced and have him work that out with us because what we're supposed to have we didn't . we didn't have black appliances other than the dishwasher. we don't even have a ceiling fan or additional storage space. I demanded to have the vents re-opened. I was supposed to have the vent in the bedroom replaced. that never happened. we had to have our fridge door worked on 3 times by chris the maintenance guy. a broken fridge that raised my electric bill for 2 months because he blamed the door being broken on a carton of salsa that I got from Costco that we had on the door of the fridge. really? so the door wouldn't close because of salsa and yet even when he moved it, it still didn't close and our electric bill was $300 and the office didn't even help pay It for what maintenance should've done before we moved in and the second I mentioned the fridge door didn't shut. why wasn't that a high priority for? even the high priorities aren't done early enough unless you're dealing with marlon or robert. they come asap. they work hard on homes. they're cool peeps. chris and bill. not so much. chris told someone that its not his problem that a tenants water wasn't getting hot and cold enough and the water pressure wasn't strong. I shouldn't have water coming out at different times of the day/ night either feeling hot as heck or luke warm or barely coming out. chris could've explained who's in charge of the water pressure and temp of the water even though we have a water thing in our hall closets. so I don't understand the temp of the waters being odd at different times. its so weird.I had chris and bill over to work on my closet doors because they came off the rail and they don't go back on right and it rubs on the carpet. the closet is not shaped correctly esp for the closet doors. the closet doors needs to be trimmed down. my air unit wasn't working at all. it felt nice outside and I had the air on so I can vent out my apartment. chris came and had a problem with my smell of my apartment. my dogs decided to urinate as we waited around for maintenance all day long. chris came at 1:45pm. I put in a work order at 5:45am that same day. chris called for bill so he can smell my home. bill complained to the office staff. I got a 10 day notice and they acted like they didn't know about my dogs. I gave them my info when I moved in including a pet therapy paper. this nonsense happened twice. twice they acted like they didn't know about my dogs. a neighbor has been stealing car batteries from big vehicles. she has about 10 people living with her and her mom. they take pics of what they believe are troublemakers and yet they have non-tenants living with them who steals batteries and money from vehicles. my boyfriend's battery was stolen. I reported it to the office and security and maintenance. they recently just pulled that stunt on their upstairs neighbor and due to that, the upstairs peeps moved out and broke their lease. they said the office didn't do anything about their ordeal. I am waiting around to get my closet fxed. the thing to hold the clothes is broken. the doors are busted as I mentioned before. and I just saw my mirror in my master bedroom is coming undone. wow, wonderful and oh I forgot to mention linoleum that's lifted up. this apartment is interesting. I do like my neighbors esp terry. she helped me when I got a bed from another neighbor who was moving out. I'm friends with my neighbors.they're cool.
