  • My interaction with this place started back in April 2016. When I walked into the office I could see close up but had difficulty seeing distance as I had been for a while now. When I walked out of the office I had a new pair of glasses. And as usual, they felt a little weird at first. I had headaches, watery eyes...etc. I thought this was the usual symptoms of the "set in period" and would pass after a short while. Well it didn't. I went back to wearing my old glasses because I started getting severe headaches, dizziness, and could not read print up close. After 6 months, decided to take the glasses back. Instead of "hearing" my issues, the doctor and the eyeware technician tried to upsale me to a progressive lense. The doctor said that she mentioned this as an option on the initial visit. (Don't remember that at all!) So basically they're telling me that I opted not to go with progressive lenses and to accept a prescription that I knew would cause me to have worse vision walking out than what I had walking in! This place is a joke! Let's say the doctor was painting an accurate picture of how the initial visit went. Why in the world would they let me walk out of their office knowing that I would have issues seeing with the new glasses??? Either way, this place shows a lack of expertise and professionalism. I only wish I had read reviews on here before going to this place. Lesson Learned! I'm hoping my insurance next year covers the office I had been using prior to this place. I think even if they do not, I WILL NOT be going back to MyEYEDR.
