| - FIRST OFF LET ME START OFF. I AM NOT BASHING THIS COMPANY, I SO HAPPENED TO PURCHASE HAIR FROM THE CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION, SO THE HAIR CAME FROM THEM AND I MUST ADMIT THIS IS MY REVIEW OF THE HAIR THAT I PURCHASED.
I bought 4 bundles of Brazillian loose wave hair 16in, 18in, 20in, and a 22in bundles-- which came up to be $268. Before the first install, the hair was nice, it didn't shed, tangle, or smell, it curled nice. I colored my hair black with a semi-permanent dye, deep conditioned the hair [inside a bag]] in hot water, and let the hair air dry. The curls dropped to nice longer ringlets which I didn't mind. The first day of my install, I made sure I put a LIGHT Application of One and Only Argan oil. My wefts were sealed and my hair was sewed-in..NOT CUT b/c I wanted longer lengths. The first time I wore the hair, it was great the first day, but tangled so badly the next day, combed it out from ends to the root, it shedded terribly. It's recommended that you cowash the hair once a week in which I did. Honey! The first time I co-washed, I let the hair air dry and plaited it up for the next day, God knows the hair was so tangled and matted in my nape area and also my 16 inch that was in the front. Fast forward to a month later, I lost half a bundle of my 22 in, half of my 20in due to the hair knotting and tangling badly. My bathroom was covered in hair. Lord knows, I couldn't be a side chick b/c my evidence would have been left all over the place! My 18 and 16 inch bundle didn't lose as much as the longer lengths. I contacted the main customer service- from the www.queenvirginremy.com website and their response was to keep deep conditioning the hair **major eye roll** . I contacted the location where I purchased the hair, not much of a response either. I I was just asked whether the hair was installed in the back of my head.
I did a silicon mix on this hair, it brought it back to life, but it only lasted two weeks. This hair was supposed to last 6 months-1 year, and guess what--- I bought the hair in September of 2014 and the hair is somewhere at a garbage dump.
I'm not sure if I got a "bad batch of hair" but regardless, I should have been offered to have my hair replaced or refunded for my hard earned coins. I'm not telling people to not buy from them--but I would say "buy at your own risk", I'm speaking on my experience with the hair. I've bought beauty supply store hair that lasted me longer than this. My first warning was, the own girls from the store didn't have this hair installed. If you still want to buy QUEEN VIRGIN REMY, use it for a bob style and get the shorter lengths, it'll most likely last longer and it's less of a waste of money, it won't be much since shorter bundles are cheaper.
