  • I want to start off this review by saying I have gone to Salon Estique many times and have had really good luck with some great stylists, but today was not one of them. The person I saw today was a Master II stylist and was very friendly, but I do not think she totally understood what I wanted out of my haircut. I showed her a few pictures and explained in what I thought was pretty good detail as to what I expected. She cut my hair and started blowdrying and then passed it off to her assistant who took 45 minutes with help to blow dry my shoulder length hair. The end result was not even close to what I had explained, although I am just thankful it was not a complete hack job and I can make do in the mean time while my hair grows out. The stylists there are over booked and are usually working on 2-3 customers at a time, I think I would have had a better result if she had the time to just focus on one haircut. I ended up being in the salon for 1 hour and 30 minutes for a trim/ haircut. In the end I paid a ridiculous amount for something that was less than exceptional. I expected more from the salon and stylists in keeping up with the latest trends especially when you pay an arm and a leg for a mediocre haircut, when I can go to other salons, pay less and get something better. I also think that the salon staff could dress more professional, some of the skimpy outfits were a little to much. I can't say I will return to Salon Estique, but I do hope they take this review as constructive criticism and nothing more.
