  • Went here when I was in Madison for a few days. I was greatly impressed by the size of TGD--three upstairs areas plus a beer garden below. The major downside was the lack of respect for dining patrons. Some party of 6-7 adults showed up with their bad ass caravan of 12+ kids and let their rowdiness neign. Instead of a manager politely informing them to quiet down or gtfo, two waitstaff were stuck serving them. Honestly, I'm 1000% from children being banned from places that serve copious amounts of alcohol. BUT, the food was alright and I had some lovely beer flights, so it wasn't a total loss.
