| - We dined with a party of 6 on a Saturday night. Was surprised it wasn't that busy. My mom and Aunt had said they always wanted to eat here. I called the day of to schedule reservations while some family had just gotten into town for a funeral.
We had Andy as our waiter, and he was pretty fantastic! His friendly banter with my family was great! Just what we needed.
We ordered, wine, champagne, beer across the board for the table. All reasonable, but they had options for higher end clientele, too! The mix of breads and spreads for the butter was very good. Loved the crunchy breadsticks.
I ordered a Caesar salad and split with my Aunt. My mother ordered the Osso Buco, so I knew it would be awhile and Andy also warned us. I also ordered the Eggplant Parm. It reminded me more of a napoleon ( which maybe I missed when reading the menu). I was surprised it didn't come with pasta, but that was actually perfect, because I couldn't even finish the 3 stacks of the eggplant that arrived.
Andy was so sweet, he brought us a Tiramasu for the table.
Will definitely recommend to our Pittsburgh friends and family, thanks for treating us like family while visiting.
