  • I was prepared to not like Pure. In fact, I went out of my way to make back up plans for the group I was with to be put on the list for Moon and Playboy club, because I was convinced that this place was going to let me down, especially because of all the hype it's generated. Well, Pure pleasantly surprised me. We were escorted right in thanks to my pimp ass friend Lee...if it weren't for him, i'm sure we would have stood out there for an hour. Once inside, the music was really good...and it varied from room to room. The club is HUGE...and very white. One large downfall is that if you do not have a table, you're herded around like cattle and have nowhere to sit or stand, really. Also, I waited 20 minutes in the bathroom line upstairs on the patio...so prepare yourself. Everyone always talks about "the view! the view!"...but Moon's view is WAY better. I'm considering Pure for my birthday celebration...so that proves it wasn't a total disaster like I had predicted.
