Would not recommend Express Flooring Services to anyone. About a year ago, we had Expess install carpet in our home (family room and master bedroom) and in less than a year, carpet had serious matting issues and seam was very visible. My wife and I are empty nesters and we both work during day so traffic over the carpet during that time was not an issue. Salesman had assured us we were getting "motel grade" carpet. Did not bother to explain the different grades/blends of carpet (polyester vs nylon vs wool) and wearablity factors of each. Call was made to Express to express dissatifaction with carpet installed and Express denied any responsibility, it was the manufacturer's responsibilty to address our concerns. After many phone calls and e-mails to manufacturer, manufacturer agreed to replace only the carpet in the family room. Made three appointments to have salesman come out with samples for replacement carpet and each time salesman failed to show. Think this was due to my wife working during day and salesman just did not want to come out in evening when she was home. Express insists both spouses be at home when salesman arrives. Finally had salesman show up on a saturday, salesman knew nothing about carpeting and even after we said we wanted a nylon blend of carpet installed to replace cheap polyester blend previously installed, salesman still tried to sell us another cheap polyester blend! Express uses subcontractors to install its flooring and they are usually Mexicans who speak little or no English so communications is frustrating at best. Those who did initial installation did not use/have carpet stretcher. I didn't realize this until after carpet installed. Advise anyone having carpet installed to first do some research before contracting carpet company and again, would not recommend Express Flooring.
