rev:text	Poor service, high prices, dumpy atmosphere. This place is a stone's throw from my home, so unfortunately I took my dog there for several years. An emergency forced us to go to another vet and we realized what we were missing, we're never going back! I've had 2 different vets examine my dog over the years, and both were equally disappointing. It's like pulling teeth to get information and advice from them, but when it comes to up selling, suddenly they're talkative. For instance, I had a concern with lumps near my dog's hind quarters. The vet took a biopsy and reported that it wasn't cancerous, so completely normal. No further information, even though I followed up with him about it at later appointments. At the new clinic, I asked for a second opinion and the vet also told me it was normal, but told me what it was, why it was there, what I could do to make it go down. There was another time that my dog needed ear drops. The vet asked if I had ever given my dog ear drops before and since I hadn't, asked if I would like a demonstration. Of course, I said yes, but when I saw the bill, that 2 minutes demonstration cost me $85. The vet had not mentioned this charge, nor the fact that the package contained detailed instructions with diagrams. I didn't bother to argue about the charge, but it certainly left a bitter taste in my mouth. Lastly, the hours are not very convenient for a 9 to 5er, and when I have scheduled appointments after work, I have had them cancelled on multiple occasions. This was always a few hours before the appointment, and if I didn't pick up the phone, no alternative dates where left, it was up to me to call back and start all over with rescheduling. Usually when this occurred, the clinic would be closed when I called back, which leads me to believe that the cancellation was just because they decided to close early that day. Go somewhere else, you can do better!
