I had the pleasure of attending Hilary Boucher's Primal Strength Fitness Class on December 14, 2015 from 6:30 to 7:30. Hilary's past life as a personal trainer is apparent in this intense fitness class. The class moves quickly working with a variety of props including free weights and ViPR tubes (which I've not used before). A sequence of four exercises is repeated twice before moving onto the next sequence of four exercises. I started sweating in the warm up and didn't stop. There were recognizable yoga movements (prayer twist) in this class as well as fitness class movements (burpees). The class ended off with drawing chi up through our bodies. An interesting closing standing posture. Although my continued focus will be yoga classes, I expect that I would attend this class in the future. I like the different level-challenges Hilary sets for her individual students.
