| - I really want to give this place 3 stars, but I actually got a really good haircut. It is the rest of the service that's lackluster. I had no problem getting an appt.--I called on Thursday and they got me in on Monday. When I walked in the ladies at the front desk were nice enough, but not overjoyed to see me ;). I was offered water, tea or coffee, so that's a plus. My wait was less than 5 minutes. The stylist was nice, but didn't have a lot of personality. I had a Groupon for sugar scrub, deep condition, shampoo, cut, style and shoulder massage (paid $25). I was offered a hot towel for my face during the shampooing, but I declined since it's 120 degrees outside and I hadn't cooled down yet from being out there. After my hair was pampered, I was halfheartedly offered a hand massage, which basically consisted of the stylist putting lotion on my hands for about 2 minutes. Then she cut and styled my hair and told me I was good to go. I didn't even ask about the shoulder massage, figuring it wouldn't be worth the extra time it would take.
Bottom line--I won't be back. I did not feel at all pampered or like anybody cared I was there. There are a million places in this town to get a haircut where they at least fake that they are glad to see you :).
