This hotel is by all standards just okay. The room was acceptable, the common spaces were pretty normal, the staff was friendly. There is nothing that pops out as a wow. The one thing that sets it apart from a normal doubletree level hotel is the architecture. It has a pretty cool mid-century look. The building looks pretty cool against the desert sunset. I think if you could do some minor unit upgrades this place would be a lot better and more attractive to stay in. Even all the common spaces has pretty good potential.
Another thing to mention is the breakfast was pretty solid. They take it a couple notches above what you would normally see at a hotel this level. I was able to even make my own waffle. Pretty good.
