Wow, can a car be dirtier after they detail it than before?!? I didn't think so until now.
I brought my prized, middle aged crisis Corvette in for a detail and hand car wash. Set up an appointment and left it all day. I came back and the car looked just awful. The car is black so the wax that they had not wiped/buffed away had dried and showed up as white all over the place, especially in between the panels. The back of the car had dirt all over it, I still don't understand how that happened? There were water spots everywhere, again, how? You waxed it and wiped it, how could there be watermarks on my car. I'm thinking that it wasn't dried properly and they are under the wax. The inside was wiped with a wet cloth and left, again, wet water spots all over the inside. Just a shoddy job plain and simple.
I cheated on my regular car guy and used my wife's detail on her leased car that she had not used. My Bad and I paid for it. Now I'm going to pay for it again to get it back into it's pristine shape.
