  • Me: "I just bought a used recliner that is a little rickety. If I stop by with it now while it's still in my truck, would you mind taking a few minutes and looking at it with me?" Them: "No. Today is a bad day to do that since we close at 1:00." I was calling at 11AM. Weak. I then called Van Aken Hardware and they said, "Sure. No problem. Bring it on by." They guy helped me take it out of my truck, we flipped it over, he told what I needed to do, then we went inside and he gathered everything I needed. Super helpful. Shaker Hardware could learn a lot from Van Aken Hardware.
