I did not hire HouseMaster. I am an tenant in a rental property where a HouseMaster Inspector and the prospective buyers came for an inspection. While I understand the inspection has to be invasive, you certainty do not need to move everything and leave it moved like a toddler went on a rampage through my house.
They left cabinets open, curtains pulled back, my shower curtains open and pulled out, my thermostat 10 degrees higher than when he started playing with it, things on my counters moved all around. This is my home, which I was in when they were doing the inspection, thankfully. If I had not been home, I would have come home to my dogs in an almost 90 degree apartment.
Not a good first impression. I'm currently home shopping and definitely will not consider them when it comes time to schedule my own home inspection.
