| - My wife and I love Indian food. We've tried every Indian restaurant in the Ahwatukee area, and this is our favorite. When you come, remember that this place is family owned and operated; it's not a chain with five bussers and six servers running around. For that reason, service is not as quick as Chile's or Outback.
The food is authentic, fresh, and the restaurant aims to please. The owner always comes by and greets us, and if there's anything wrong they fix it immediately. The prices are fair, not cheap or expensive.
For best results, order a la carte expecting to share each item. A curry or two, some samosas, and a meat or veggie entree will be more than enough for a couple, and you'll come away with about a $40 bill. There's also a Groupon out there right now, $12 for $24 I believe.
Good for: Foodees, couples looking for something different, casual meals, and a weekday night out.
Bad for: Snobs.
