  • A+++. If you're a fan of Christmas Story, this is a must see. Especially if you're within a day trip of Cleveland. Only the exterior shots of the move were filmed here, so you'll recognize the outside of the house. Inside is different as interior scenes were in the studio. BUT the house has items from 1940s and is decorated for Christmas. The old decor is fun and you can touch everything, wear a Bunny suit, or hide under the sink. Our tour guide was great - personable, patient, and full of movie trivia. We went on a Monday late morning, so parking on the street was no problem. On a weekend and close to Christmas, I can see parking being a problem. Neighbors seemed friendly and/or indifferent to the tourists. We had no trouble getting there. The gift shop has nice items and is well stocked, attendants are helpful and friendly. Museum was more fun than I thought it would be. If you're a AAA member, they offer a discount on tickets and merchandise which is nice. Wonderful way to kick off our holiday season.
