| - I want to start out by saying that I hate leaving negative reviews. I try to find the positive aspects in businesses, but sometimes that just isn't possible, as with our most recent experience at The Dump.
My husband and went to the dump to look at a mattress and possibly new bed. One glance at their bedroom inventory and you can see how over priced their pieces are. However we continued on to the mattress section hoping that the selection and prices would be better, they were not.
In the mattress section we had a friendly sales rep, Blake. He did a great job explaining the mattresses we liked. We ended up finding a mattress on clearance that we both liked, but after a quick internet search, realized that with its $1,700+ price tag, it was overpriced. We asked if they had any 4th of July sales (hoping that this might lower the price), he replied with a firm "no" and with that we left. While Blake was a good sales rep, his ability to not change the price was disappointing.
The following day my husband called the store with a question about the mattress. (Because at this point we were still weighing our options.) He talked with an extremely rude lady, Dee Dee. Her answer, tone and overall "we don't care" attitude has completely turned us off from purchasing from The Dump.
I wish that I had read the Yelp reviews before wasting time visiting The Dump.
