So yesterday was my grocery shopping day with the kids and I told them I would treat them to Starbucks before we were to start our day. We drove up at 1pm and the line in the drive thru was pretty long. But I figured they wouldn't want their customers waiting and move the line along. I ordered a vanilla bean for my daughter and a pink drink as well. Ten mins later we pull up to the window. And the girl at the window says... Oh I was just told we have no strawberry açaí for the pink drink. Do you want something else? Uh...no. My first thought was why wouldn't you have told me that when I placed the ordered? Or I don't know send someone out before I get to the window so I can make a decision on a new drink? Just a thought. I did not want to have people wait longer in line than they had to so I said I just wanted the vanilla bean. She apologized and handed over my drink. But does she give us a straw? Nope. Had to send my kid in for a straw. I should've known heading there was a mistake when my husband warned me he once waited in their drive thru for 25min. I know they haven't been open more than year but they need to get their act together.
