  • I'm actually at Public Works as I type! I've really enjoyed my day working here. The coffee was good, service was great, and the vibes are nice. However, it is AN ICEBOX! If I could talk to the manager or owner I would literally beg and plead with him or her to turn off the air con. The chairs are metal and I can't even rest my back on them. The next time I come I'm bringing my parka. Back to the positives though- the barista brought around samples of a new drink for everyone to try and it was really good! They also have an awesome happy hour with $3 beers and wine. I would definitely recommend Public Works... just bring a blanket.
