I purchased a used Lexus hybrid from Medina in March. There are many pros about this dealership&unfortunately some cons.
First I flew into Ohio and a driver picked me up. Driver was very nice&talkative & even though my flight was delayed two hours he waited & kept calling my phone.
Dealership is quite snazzy and nicely designed.
Staff is very pleasant
Went for a test drive before I paid, cash, for my car. I returned and entered the wrong building(because there are many&they all look alike)and a very nice lady escorted me back to the proper building.
Unfortunately my salesman was in a hurry to get back to his work(go figure)and did not explain anything about my car. O pardon me, he told me where the emergency break is.
A deposit was placed on my cc card that was to be removed because I paid cash but the refund was not forthcoming until I contacted the Ohio BBB. One month later I received the refund.
NoBueno!!
Here's the thing...they basically did a good job and I was pleased until I did not receive my refund.
They negotiated on price which no dealers in the tri-state of New York was willing to do. Manhattan Lexus actually told me, verbatim, that they have enough customers.
Flying into Ohio I actually got a price beaten by $2k for the Lexus SUV throughout the New York Tri-State.
The driver told me last week he picked up a professor who flew in from Tennessee to buy from Medina. So apparently they beat the prices most consumers find at their local dealerships.
I just wish they had completed my sale in the professional manner in which they started it.
Ultimately I do feel good about the purchase.
