| - This little trickle of new restaurants into Oakland is making me so SO happy. Stack'd and T4U are already solid contenders for my guilty pleasure food, and I can totally add Fuku Tea to my list now.
First impressions: love the bright and spacious interior. The huge windows give you a great view of all the bustle on Forbes while you sit and sip. Also, there's an outlet under the counter for each seat! Um, hello new study spot.
The staff is very friendly, and when I stopped by, it looked like there was a pretty constant stream of people coming in (mostly Asians haha). During their soft opening, they were giving out little cup samples of their mango passionfruit green tea.
I ordered a small passionfruit black milk tea with tapioca, and it came out to $3.41. If you make it during the soft opening, you get another dollar off!
The bubbles are probably some of the best I've ever had. A little touch of sweet, with a great chew. YUM.
I ordered the tea itself to be a light level of sweetness, which ended up tasting like a normal level of sweet to me.

Maybe I'll step it down another level next time.
I'm really digging this place so far. Plus, more bubble tea options in one area can never be a bad thing right? Definitely coming back here soon!
