My boyfriend and I live in a nearby apartment complex and have tried going to Crave for a weeknight cocktail several times. In the few times that we were able to dine here, the servers have always been so awesome and their martinis are incredible, but it's the manager that really ruins this restaurant. More often that not, we have tried to sit outside and his response has always been that they are "not seating outside anymore". This has happened on multiple days of the week and at different hours of the day. Last night the excuse was because they "stop seating outside at 10pm".. even though there were three tables still enjoying themselves, a new hookah was going outside at that exact moment and the inside was packed. We proceeded to walk to the bar and the manager chimes in "Good luck finding a place at the bar". He has been rude in every single interaction I have had with him and last night was by far the worst. Why have a patio that you don't want to serve on? There have been too many pretentious and bizarre interactions to count which is why I will probably never recommend this place to anyone. Being a neighborhood lounge in the heart of fourth ward, I really would expect more from Crave.
