A moment of silence for all the lost discs in the fountain...may they find their way home back to their owners...
...
This is a fantastic disc golf course. Playing it, you can see why so many pros come out to play tournaments here. The course is challenging and you will likely lose a disc or two. I lost three :( . A lot of the baskets are right on the edge of the fountain and once it goes in it's gone. I also enjoyed the multiple baskets available on some of the holes, especially the ones that I was a little too scared to throw on.
The most tragic throw was a light weight blizzard disc that landed in the water. It was light enough to float and slowly made its way away from us. If only I had packed my disc diver!! Hopefully whoever finds it enjoys it. There were also some nearly lost discs...be careful on putts. A missed putt that hits the basket and rolls has a high chance of rolling into the water and away for good. You've probably got a 15 second window to get discs out of the water as they slide down the slope and into oblivion. There seriously must be thousands of discs in this fountain.
Along the way we saw an Eagle in a tree about 30 feet away. The people in the area were all very nice and friendly as well. This is a great course that anyone in the area should try out. I'd make a point to come visit it if you like disc golf! After losing discs go visit Spinners on the Green
