| - My friend and I rented a car to drive from SF to Las Vegas back in July 2016. On the night before our departure, our rental car was hit by a driver who committed a classic hit-and-run. When we called the Las Vegas Nevada police, they said I should work with the nearest casino for assistance, which happened to be none other than Hooters. Hooters of course could care less, and so when I called the Las Vegas Nevada Police department the next day (Saturday), lo and behold the police department is CLOSED!
Our car was not completely wrecked; in fact, it had just a few scratches/bumps. However, these marks were noticeable, and so we decided to go to a body repair shop to get it fixed.
We yelp'd and found Dent Guys and man, were they helpful. I can't remember the mechanic, but he said that he would fix our car for free since it was a slow day and because our damages weren't that extensive. Within an hour we had the car looking EXACTLY like before, with the scratches/bumps gone. My friend and I couldn't believe how efficient and helpful they were! Even though we knew the repair wouldn't cost that much, we gave him $150 since we were impressed by the level of service.
Key Takeaway:
+ extremely good service and very polite. 100% recommended
+ don't drive a rental car in Vegas; people drive recklessly and if you do get hit by someone (usually someone who is drunk), that can put add a lot of stress to your trip.
