| - I don't write many Yelp reviews (you can check), but I need to write one for AZ Motorcycle. I typically only take my bike to the shop for getting a tire put on a rim, or for valve adjustments. I have had horrible luck with valve adjustments. I am not exaggerating, but here are some of the things that have happened when I've have valve work done: only half the cylinders checked/adjusted (V4 bike); broken fairings; wires not put back where they belong; steering damper came loose on the way home; pinched gasket; and worst of all, bent valve cover.
Add all that up, and I HATE getting my valves adjusted. When it was time for my current bike (ZX-14R) to have the work done, I started calling around. The factory dealerships wanted anywhere between $800 - $1000 to do it. Some of the local shops would do it but it was still in the $600 - $700 range (which I'm fine paying if that's really what it takes). Anyway, I found a local guy to do it but I put it off for a month. When I finally made it over to his shop he informed me he no longer did 'hard' jobs, so it was back to calling around.
I called another shop in Mesa and made an appointment to drop the bike off but when I showed up he informed me that he had other bikes show up and those took precedence over my bike. That's fine, no big deal. I'll just go somewhere else.
Which brings me to AZ Motorcycle. I found them on Yelp and they had good ratings. I was still nervous because another place I went to in the past had good ratings on Yelp and they were the guys who bent my valve cover. But I decided to take a leap of faith and try AZ Motorcycle out. I am so glad I did. Not only did they give me a fast turn around time, they charged me what they quoted me and their quote was almost HALF of what other places were telling me. Are you kidding? On top of all that, when I got the bike back they had wiped it down and shined it up. Talk about service.
I know this is a long story but I didn't want to come off like some of those reviewers on Amazon where all they do is give five stars and say, "Great product!" I wanted to give some details so you'd know that AZ Motorcycle is the real deal. I couldn't be happier. If I ever need anything done on my bike I'm coming here because I trust that they'll do the job right and they'll charge me an honest amount. Good for you MIke and Marco(?). You guys are awesome. Thanks for taking care of my bike.
