  • Go to the midtown location, much better in every regard. Generally I would give the Vig a big 5 stars, the food is always outstanding so cusps to the chef team. Try the soy garlic edamame and you will never ratio anywhere else. The pazole is a surprising delight. Drinks are always on point. Unfortunately the service at this one is frequently less then stellar. Assume you will be ignored for the first 10 minutes of your visit, assume you will have to stalk your waiter for another drink. Particularly disappointing this time was when I asked Christian our waiter for a cup of coffee during brunch he gave me "the look" and asked me if I was "really going to make him work". This was of course after we had to ask the bus boy who the hell our winter was after sitting for 15 minutes. While he said he could go to the trouble of brewing a pot of coffee (which would have taken less time then the conversation he proceeded to engage in complaining about it) I passed. We didn't really see him after and that's probably better.
