This past 4th of July weekend my sister and I decided to go to The Room Store to purchase a living room sofa. We had gone in Thursday evening before they closed and saw a couple of Sofa's that we liked and told the sales associate that we would be back Friday to decide which sofa to get. We made it back on Friday and decided on a different sofa along with 5 other pieces for a complete set. The set came with 2 table lamps, which I was told I could change. My sister found 2 decorative lamps of equal value to the original lamps and they were put in the order. We set up delivery for the next day on the actual 4th of July holiday. Everything was delivered except for the lamps, so I called the store and let them know that we would come there about the missing lamps. When we arrived at the store, the manager Steven greeted us and personally took time to understand what had taken place with the lamps in question. He pretty much got the entire store involved to check for the lamps. Unfortunately, we found out that the lamps had been sold to someone else. Steven made a point to find the lamps at another store. He checked the system and found that there were possibly 2 of the same lamps at the Paradise Valley location. He made the phone call to check, I gave a description of the lamp, and the next day I received a phone call stating that the lamps were at the Paradise Valley location, which were delivered to the Scottsdale store. The best part is that Steven offered to personally deliver the lamps to my house. I have to honestly say that even though I spent my weekend at The Room Store in Scottsdale, it was the most pleasant customer service experience I've ever encountered. Steven and his staff made all the efforts to accommodate the situation, which let me know that they truly valued my business. I definitely recommend this store for furniture shopping and excellent customer service!
