| - Great hotel and location. Close proximity to numerous restaurants, gas stations and stores. Best part is the less-than-two-blocks-away Whole Foods!!! When does that happen? A whole foods next to your business hotel!?! How lucky is that? Fresh fruits and organic vegetables for your consumption?!? Though if you prefer the staple Wendy's, McDonalds, PF Changs, Red Lobster and the likes you also won't have to go very far!
Starbucks next to WF incase Allegro's Fair Trade Coffee isn't your cup of tea (pun intended)!
Located next to a major freeway and intersection, it's fast to jump on the road and get around town. Even the 20mile drive to/from airport wasn't so bad.
Rooms are large. Staff is friendly. Starchy crisp towels in the bathroom. White tile with black and white mosaic trimmings make it feel like a trendy apartment in grenwich village, NYC.
Large, Flat-Screen Television has a decent number of channels including HBO.
There is a business center with updated computers that ACTUALLY download your word files and give you no trouble to print! When you log out they are programmed to delete everything you did and all the files you might have downloaded which is good in maintaining your anonymity and privacy. I had to print an Expenses Sheet for work and it was automatically deleted as I logged out of my session. But beware and don't leave a project unfinished since it will get erased as soon as you step away.
Lobby is modern and spacious. Free coffee for guests ($1 a cup if you are not a guest-this seems a bit stingy to me especially if you are a hotel of the Marriott caliber, but hey, I get it! They are adjacent to a restaurant and restaurant patrons may wonder into the Fairfield Inn for a free cup)!
Small shop near lobby incase you forgot anything or want a soda or snack.
I had a small misunderstanding with the manager and he was totally open, friendly, and down-to-earth. He was respectful and receptive, all crucial qualities for someone in a leadership position.
