| - Where a romantic wine and dine restaurant really TOPS OFF.
I was taken here on a date and really didn't know what to expect. Of course, when you walk into a really nicely decorated place where the lighting is dim, you always want to think to yourself, "is this place as good as it looks?"
My date and I immediately were seated for our reservation at 7pm. The hostess walked us back to where we were seated and then minutes later we were followed up by our server who nicely introduced himself offering either iced water or sparkling water. I also got a glass of pinot noir to accommodate my meal. We look over the menu, (so much to choose from!), appetizer of mozzarella stuffed with sun dried tomatoes topped with basil and a salad with special house dressing.
As we wait, a in house photographer, associated with "Cashman photos" asked us if we wanted to take our pictures. Not a usual request sitting at a restaurant, but hey, why not? Something to make the night even more memorable, right? She told us how to pose and took a few pictures.
Here comes the really good stuff, the entrees! For him, a filet mignon, for me, baked salon (TO DIE FOR). It literally melted in my mouth and was mouth watering. WOW! They sure know how to cook a salmon! For our side dishes, baked macaroni, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. MMMMMMM. Mashed potatoes was one of a favs here too.
We didn't end up getting desert because we were: 1) too full 2) satisfied with our meal. The nice photographer came back two sets of fold out albums. She told us that we could choose our favorite photos to place in the albums. Yeah, they were a little pricey but they came out so nice! Loved it! She also threw in two more set of wallets.
End cap: one of the most memorable nights perfected with an awesome date and a blissful dinner followed by the show "Ka" by Cirque de Soleil. Now that's a real DATE!
