  • My boyfriend and I have eaten at Krazy Fish before. Our first time to eat there was okay - not great, but it also wasn't bad. For our second trip, we went after the first two places we were wanting to eat at had long lines. The waitress dropped us off at our table, and then waited a few minutes to take our drink order (not exactly great). When she came back over, we ordered the salsa trio and queso for an appetizer. My boyfriend ordered the fried shrimp po' boy, and I ordered a fried chicken roti with the Indian curry sauce. We both ordered macaroni and cheese as our sides. The salsa trio was good - the verde and more "regular" salsa (can't remember the name) were great, the pineapple one was pretty good, but the queso was a little too sweet for my liking. When we received our entrees, my boyfriend immediately removed the tomato from the sandwich. Tomatoes are out of season, and more often than not, they don't taste great at this time of the year. My roti was good - however, there was too much rice. So, I ended up picking the chicken out of the wrap. Unfortunately, the macaroni and cheese was something you would find in the deli section of a cheap grocery store - the grease was separating from the sauce. That is not something I want to see when eating. Near the end of my boyfriend's po' boy, the breading had separated from one of the shrimp, and he realized that they didn't de-vein the shrimp. So, he immediately stopped eating and placed the napkin on the plate. He also mentioned that he could not taste the remoulade sauce at all. The waitress did not stop by once to ask how our meal was, and she never came to bring us our check. I waited ten minutes (mind you, it was FREEZING inside the restaurant) before I got up to walk back to where she was (back by the kitchen/bar area) to hand her the card and ask for the check. She told me to "hold on one minute." I went back to the table, where we waited for a couple of minutes for her to return. She never checked on the couple who were eating beside us, either. Furthermore, she had come back to the table behind ours not once but TWICE and still didn't check on us.
