  • They literally saved my 12-year-old dog's life. He had gone into heart failure due to an enlarged heart. (Couldn't stand, accelerated heart rate and panting) and I feared they would recommend putting him to sleep. I took him to VE+CC b/c it was the middle of the night. I was immediately impressed by the responsiveness and kindness of the staff. A vet came right out and took him in the back room for triage. She recognized he was in heart failure and got him into oxygen right away. He had to stay two full days for oxygen treatment; the great thing is that they have a specialty animal clinic attached, so he had the best specialist and test equipment available. After 3 days and several medications later, I could finally take my baby home. I cried when I saw his happy wagging tail. The cost was less than I feared. Dr forney took the time to explain my dog's condition, prognosis, and care. So glad I found them!
