| - Modest rates featuring rooms with refrigerator, sink and 2 burner cooktop.
For a long stay, this worked for us. However if you are weighing the option between sleeping on Aunties Couch and here... save your money, and tough it out at Aunties.
Brace yourself for:
- Reservation errors (we tried booking by phone and via AAA and it seemed overly complicated and there were big errors. )
- Prepay to get a discount, not so bad.. but if you have to leave a little early, plan on having to go back to the front desk to get it straightened out.
- Short on sheets/towels - did not have enough sheets for the fold out couch, had to request them.
- Standard maid service is once a week for long term stays. In our case, they did not even replenish the toilet paper and we had to go to the front desk to ask for a roll.
(There are some various maid service requests you can make, silly us.. we thought TP would be standard)
and the big one.. the smell. The entrance, elevator, hall, and room we had were stinky. Used Febreeze in our room. It says the rooms are non-smoking.. but it is pretty awful.
If you need to stick to a budget, and can cope with the short comings.. the location is right off the highway and relatively close to the airport. So for a one night stop over that won't break the bank, I would recommend it.. but check and double check everything.
