I visited the Norterra Chipotle and felt compelled to recognize one young man there who went above and beyond. The fact that I am going through some life changing issues must have shown on my face, because he asked how I was doing, and I did not have a cheery reply. It was lunch rush hour so everyone there was busy, and he took an extra few minutes to say some kind words to me and make sure I had an exceptional customer experience. I sincerely appreciate that. He did not have to do that. I only wish I got his name, I think he had some baseball tattoos. Anyway, thanks to this employee there who took the time to show some compassion and try to brighten someone's day. You never know what someone is going through. And, today you often don't get exceptional customer service, so it should be recognized and rewarded.
